OO4O/VB4-16/LONG RAW question

I'm using OO4O (V1.0.55.0) under 16-bit VB4 running on NT4.0. I'm trying to insert a file into a LONG RAW field. I'm using the example given in the OO4O help file, but it doesn't work for me. I am able to create the dynaset and populate the fields (including the long raw one), but when I invoke the update method, I get a "type mismatch" error. I am invoking the AddNew method before I populate the data fields. I also get an "inconsistent datatype" error from SQL*Plus when I try to select the long raw column, but I assume this is just due to the nature of the long raw datatype.
