I have a new project and wonder if you can point me in the right direction?  I've been out to Oracle's support page, but it seems to be down. Anyway, I need a way to take a snap shot of our database disk usage. We have something now that goes back week by week for the past 16 weeks by table name using ops$oracle.user_tab_stats. The results show us number of rows, number of bytes, used and empty blocks, inital and next extent size. We are putting the output into Excel.

What we want to do is predict our disk usage for adding additional stores and we want to identify fast growing tables. I would like to dump the results into a oracle table or Access. Can you recommend a method of solving this? BTW we are running 7.3 on SUN.

I would appreciate any help you can give me. Received on Tue Feb 17 1998 - 00:00:00 CST
