There is a bug somewhere in there that limits the length of attached table names to less than the 30 character Oracle limit, if your object names are near that limit then JET won't let you attach them! This seems to be a new 'feature' introduced in the Oracle 8 drivers, I have never had the problem with the 7x drivers, either 16 or 32 bit.

Just SYNONYM your tables to a nice short name and they should attach OK.
