ORA-00055 , Maximum Number Of DML_LOCKS exceeded

I encountered the above error ,.....after increasing the number of
DML_LOCKS in the INIt.ora file, I still get the error .



        I have already restarted the Oracle Workgroup Server.



        I am using Oracle Workgroup Server For Novell 7.3.2 on Novell
Netware 4.11.



        Are there any other parameters or other things I need to do
??? I checked the Oracle Documentation and they just suggested to
increase the number of DML_Locks.
