I've installed ConText 2.0.6 with Oracle 8.0.3. In my experience, the installation procedure is supposed to create the CTXSYS user but it never worked for me. I had to manually create the user by executing the script: $ORACLE_HOME/ctx/admin/drcrsys.sql, then install ConText. THEN to complete the install, I had to create a database and reload ConText with the "create database objects" option and supplying the SID of the database during install. Good Luck, I only got it to work through trial and error.
