    hi,

I made a litle form (using forms 4.5 for 95 and NT) to help me out a bit, it's sort of a browser to look at the objects in the all_objects view. With it you can view defenitions of tables, views, sequences, triggers constraints, indexes, procedures, functions, packages...

I'll use it 'cause I'm a consultant and I go from place to place a hole lot and I'm pretty tired off making selects into all_indexes and such...

The form is pretty easy to use; to see the detail of an object just double-click on the name (it looks like a link), to reorder a multi-row block just click on the header of the row (button), to resize a field in a multi-row block simply click the balck space between the row's header, hold down the mouse button and release it where you want the feild to end. And finaly, to see the objects attached to a table or view (indexes, triggers, columns, constraints...) use the drop list (you'll see it when you run the form).

If you use it please let me know, and I'd be more than happy to hear your suggestions... I'll be improving it as the weeks go by. Btw, you can send it to anyone you'd think coul'd use it.

    Happy new year!!
