I have OWAS 3.0 and Oracle 8. These are running on the same machine and are working ok. Now I want to connect to the database by using one of my own user ids. This means that i have to config PL/SQL agent, listener and DAD.

With OWAS 2.1 it is piece of a cake but with OWAS 3.0 I cant get it to work. I installed the web packages correctly and all that stuff but there is still something that stops me from receiving my test procedure. If I connect to the database by using OWAS 2.1 that runs on a different machine my test procedure works perfectly.

I believe that the problem has something to do with Oracle 8 but I am not sure. Any thoughts are appreciated. I know I must have SQL*NET configured on the machine which I have. My listener, PL/SQL agent etc are reporting succesful creation...

Thanks! /Fred Received on Tue Dec 16 1997 - 00:00:00 CST
