Get a list of the files from sys.dba_data_files and examine the init.ora file for control files and location of archive log files.

I'd take a full export at this point.

Shut down the db.

Backup all the files including control files and init.ora file.

Delete all the files and the /etc/oratab entry.

That should about do it.
