Oracle Apps Alerts

I've been playing at alerts, and have successfully set up a few simple alerts that send email when certain types of records are added to a table. Pretty cool stuff really <G>

Anyway, I set up a more complex sql based alert which has 12 output fields, the alert excecutes correctly, however, the output's are all jumbled up. For example, I'm selecting into &ORDERNUM, &CUSTNUM, &CUSTNAME among others, however, when the alert 'runs' &CUSTNAME is going into &ORDERNUM, &CUSTNUM is going somewhere else, and while the data is there, it's not where it should be :)

The select is fine, it's ordered correctly - I can't find a rhyme or reason for the apparently random way the output var's are being filled in on the resulting message, and was wondering if anyone here had seen this, or heard of it. Thanks.
