Re: Enterprise Manager and Performance Pack

I also was looking into this. After talking to our sales rep, we were informed the Enterprise Manager can run with Workgroup or Enterprise Server as a stand alone product. The Performance Pack is an additional cost and only available on the Enterprise Server. We have a relatively small shop with 170 licenses. By the time we upgrade all to the Enterprise server and then purchase the Performance Pack (I believe $100 per end user seat), we will be approaching $200,000.

We are looking into other vendors. I do not have much information about the other vendors other than initial contact has been made to Empirical (TPM97), BMC (Patrol), Platinum, and Compuware.
