Oracle Power Objects big problem

Hi all....

I have a big prob installing Oracle Power Objects V 2.0 on a Win95 machine. Whenever I try to esablish one of the sample sessions via odbc i got the following message:

   Error during connect
and

   [OOT ODBC] General Error

More funny is to compile one of the sample aplications after starting the application appears a message saying:

    FRD-03179: Error connecting session "MINIAPPS" to database for     record source "ITEMS"

maybe anyone could find this information useful but for me it is not.

Please Note: I'm totaly new to database things and for that ANY help or idea or hint for FAQ or whatever comes to your mind is better then nothing.
