OLD and NEW values in triggers

Isn't there a possibility to use a kind of record structure:OLD.<TABLENAME> and :NEW<TABLENAME>in a trigger.It is a nuisance to use for every field this construct ofOLD and NEW, especially because we have tables with more than 50 columns.
