Default SQLNET Connect String on AIX

My company's computer is an IBM RISC RS600 R40 computer, which works with AIX. We are using Oracle 7.2.2 as the database server, I have configured the SQLNET V2 for TCP, I have defined the TNSNAMES and the LISTENER files. I have also changed the .profile files in a way that everyone that logs in will use the SQLNET string, but when you run a tool from within the command line if you only specify the user and password it connects to the database, but not using SQLNET. In DOS Clients and on Windows clients, there is a file named CONFIG.ORA where you can create a line named "LOCAL=database_connect_string", so it will default any connection to that database, is there any similar file in the AIX environment?
