A large ($750 million +) corporation with over 2,800 employees has an immediate need for a VP of Information Technology. The company has three principal lines of business: building products manufacturing, specialty plastic films manufacturing and building products installation services. Corporate offices are in Cincinnati, with 8 manufacturing plants, 21 service centers and 43 distribution centers.

Candidates for this highly visible position must have IT management experience in a large multi-location manufacturing/distribution company ($500 million +), preferably supervising an IT staff of over 35 professionals. The candidate should also have service delivery experience with Enterprise technology solutions utilizing Oracle applications and database. This position will be attractive to professionals who currently have the top IT responsibility or second-level responsibility within a large corporation and have the experience and ability to move up. Degree required.

Primary responsibility will be the development and installation of a full suite of Oracle-based enterprise-level solutions. This includes elimination of disparate platforms, protocols and legacy systems; concurrent reengineering of business and technical process for higher effectiveness and cost efficient, avoidance of the year 2000 vulnerabilities; and the ability to rapidly build, document and deploy sophisticated management information applications and decision tools throughout existing business and into acquisitions as they occur.
