Hi,

The FIRST_ROWS options advantages the fastest return of the first rows of the query which might be good for an on-line system.

The ALL_ROWS option is recommended for long batch processes because the goal of this option is throughput. Be aware however that to use these options, all related tables must have been "analyzed" so that statistics are
available.
