R&D position at Intel in Databases

New Generation Databases project at Intel will design, implement and tune a Data Mart for manufacturing test data using Oracle 8, and develop engineering analysis applications based on this data. It is a highly visible and challenging project, which requires particular personality traits and skills.

A successful candidate for this project must have excellent problem solving skills, research abilities, a high degree of creativity, and exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, customers and other groups at Intel. S/he will also have an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Extensive experience with database design and application development in the Oracle environment, object oriented development using C++ and/or

Java, client/server architectures and Web architectures is required as well. Knowledge of VMS, RMS, DTR and silicon manufacturing is a plus. "
