Help:No envir. space?

Has anyone ever come across a run-time error as follows :

   run-time error R6009
  -not enough space for environment
 --Press return to return to SQL*Forms

This is w/ version 6 and seems to occur when a form calls a C program. It is also on a brand new machine. Any help would be appreciated.
