May be some packages are missing or invalid. After installation of Designer 2000:
look if all objects are installed AND valid; you can use the Check Privileges and Objects option in the Admin Utility. Choose Object Status; if all constraints and triggers are Enabled, and the rest of the objects is valid, everything is fine. If you're missing some packages, you must run the create scripts for those packages again. They can be found in the ../repadm10/api directory. After rerunning these scripts, you will have to recompile some of the previous installed packages; they are invalid as a result of running the create package-scripts.
And also Bax is right; Designer 2000 does need a lot of resources; read the installation "manuals" on the Designer 2000 CD-rom.
