Take a look at alt.computer.consultants for some info that I posted on job shopping style of consulting.

Rates: I have seen rates for this kind of thing go anywhere from $65.00 - $120.00 (with ERP experience). Checkout Janet Rhules web page for rate info http://www.javanet.com/~technion
