DEC Alpha Server for Oracle or ???

I am in the proccess of evaluating hardware platforms to run my Oracle DB on. I am interested in DEC's Alpha 4100 with 2 CPU's. A second choice is a SUN 3000. My DB will most likely not exceed more that 16 gig over the next 7 years or so.

Any Suggestions or ideas???
