reorg of table with long datatype and constraints

I have a table with one column defined as a long data type. The table also has foriegn key constraints and the tools I have do not handle this to well. The table is severely fragmented and I wish to reorganize it back to one extent.

I figure that all the constraints could be disabled, the table truncated, re-applied through an export taken previously, then have the constraints re-enabled. Am I missing any steps here, or is there any fundimental problem with this line of thought. Any assistance on this matter would be appreciated. Thanks
