Hi,
I would appreciate any help\suggestions with regards to the following = problem:
I would like to move data from Oracle 7.3.2.3 running on Digital Alpha = Unix to Oracle 7.3.2.2 running on Windows NT 4.0. I have tried doing so = by creating an export (.dmp) file, using FTP to move it to tape, and = restoring in onto an NT 4.0 box. While performing an import, Oracle came = up with an error 'IMP 0010 - not a valid export file , header failed = verification'.
I thus have the following questions :=20

1. Am I correct in assuming that the FTP should be done in binary mode ?
2. Am I missing a step that I should perform ?
3. Can I move data from 7.3.2.3 to 7.3.2.2 using the .dmp file, or =
should I have to run some conversion utility ? Regards
Cezary
