Yup, just do what I did. Upgrade the database engine to 7.3. Use 7.2 as front end for the tools (forms, menu, plus, etc.); but you will need to run the forms/menu support scripts from the 7.2 into the 7.3 database.

It works and you're half way to getting to 7.3 and forms 4.5; just in time for Oracle8.
