        What you call SAM B&R is simply fbackup and frecover. The statement that fbackup created backups will only hold 16GB per tape is pure hogwash. I make ~40GB backups with fbackup and a DLT4000 regularly.

        Based on that bogus information i would consider anything else they tell you highly suspsect.
