I will shortly be installing SQL*NET on a VAX 4000-300
using the DECNET protocol via Pathworks OpenVMS (Netware). By
use of the provided manuals and information gleaned from
MetaLinks I know the files and process required, nameley
TSNAMES.ORA, SQLNET.ORA and LISTNER.ORA, and the LISTENER
process.
My problem is that all of the information that I have,
is related to the UNIX operating system, while I am Using a VAX.
Now while I can, and will, make use of the UNIX experts within
my company, I was wondering If there was anyone out there who
had been in a similar position and could gelp me file in the
'blanks' in the relative files.
My big, big problem is that I am working to a very tight
timescale, and would be most appreciative of all and any help
that this plea, from the bottom of a poor wee Scotsman's heart,
elictates.

						Thanks, in
advance,
							Graham.
