Launch a windows program within Forms4.5

Hi

Does anybody know how i can launch a program within form 4.5. All i have is a filename.
e.g. mydoc.doc should launch the registered application with the extension .doc (WinWord, WP?)
but i don't know which program is registered to this extension nor i don't know the place
where the program is located.

Is there a simple program available which does this? For example: HOST simple_prog mydoc.doc

What the program should do: analyze the extension. Search the extension in the registry.
Find the corresponding application the extension. Launch the application with the filename as
parameter.

Any help is greatly appreciated
