Have you given the individual a quota on the tablespace in which they are attempting the tables? The user needs either unlimited quota or a specific amount ( so many Kbytes ) before they can create objects in the specified tablespace. If the tablespace is not explicitly speciified in the create statement, oracle will try to create in the user's default tablespace. The user still needs to be given a quota in their default tablespace for them to be able to create objects. Does this make sense?
