Well, I can't answer for 'Client', but you'd be dead wrong on both counts for me. I also note that, although you used a LOT more words, you basically just repeated most of my points. Although it's nice that you agree with me, I have to wonder where this attempt to 'correct' me comes from.

Perhaps you should try reading for comprehension.

And as to the points you were trying to make, they all seem to be of this form:

"PL/SQL is *not* harder! Well, ok it is, but....." "VB is *not* more portable! Well ok it is, but..."

And lastly, the only people I've *ever* talked to who say *anything* about VB being "the perfect solution" are those who are setting up the straw man so they can trash the statement. Received on Mon May 26 1997 - 00:00:00 CDT
