Yes. Try installing Enterprise Manager on your desktop machine. It is meant to be used for remote administration (it comes with 7.3). By the way, I have almost an identical setup as you. I am also running Oracle 7.3 on NT4.0 with Arcserve (which I have yet to install) and I am waiting on a Compaq Proliant 5000 machine to come in (right now it is only on a Micron with 2 small disks and 1 processor). It should have 10 disks (65gig DB), 2 processors and a whole lotta ram :-) I'd be interested in keeping in touch with you to hear about your experiences.
