I installed both versions recently for a client. I didn't have any problems with the software, but had to explain to Oracle Media Services why I wanted the old (7.1.6) version of the database. We were running Digital Unix 4.0b. This Oracle installation disks for 7.1.6 were labeled as being for several versions of 3.2 but they worked fine.
