right, if you add
Perl and shell to NT, then add a bunch of other things, in other words make it more Unix-like, NT becomes pretty much usable..

NT "as it comes" sucks.
A simple task like counting records in a file or "tailing it" becomes a problem,
to say nothing about more complex operations.
