I'm trying to configure Enterprise Manager on a Windows95 PC to manage Oracle databases on Sun Solaris and HP-UX servers. The Enterprise Manager documentation says that you can start the 'dbsnmp' deamon on the UNIX server without running the SNMP agent. Is this true? When I try to start the agent I get 'NMS-000001: Unable to connect to master agent' and the process dies. Does anyone know how to do this? Received on Thu May 01 1997 - 00:00:00 CDT
