R25DES Oracle Financials

We are trying to modify the format of the Accounts Payable check produced by Oracle Financials. We are basing our changes on the APXPBFEG.RDF file. While we are able to load the .RDF file, attempts to run it produce a 'before report' trigger exception. We have traced this to SRW.USER_EXIT.

Can anyone tell me how we can modify and test changes to this report in the R25DES(client) or R25DESM(host) development environment? We are running oracle financials prod15 on an AIX RS/6000.
