I would recommend that you contact Oracle Support. There are a few SGA memory problems with the version of Oracle you are running and you really
need to call and get the patches. From what I can remember about 7.2.2.3,
is that because of some of the bugs, Oracle recommends that you upgrade to 7.2.3 or higher including patches.

Note: V7.2 is being desupported along with V7.1.6 on Oct 31, 1997.
