Hi there,



     All these problems will be there in the begining.....
  One method of handling this is define one page/block with base table A
and


  and another page/block with table B.  In the key-nextfield trigger of
your LOV 


  field navigate to the appropriate block.    You don't really have to use 
  DBMS_SQL.
