Questions about Maintaining Oracle Applications

We are planning on the possibility of implementing the enterprise suite of Oracle applications for a company of 10,000 employees.

I am looking for this kind of information, if you have been associated with such a project:

How was the Information Management organization structured for implementing the Oracle applications?

How many DBA's, security personnel, application developers, business analysts, etc... were required?

What were their requirements for maintenance?

Did you do a lot of code changes or did your users modify their processes to fit the application?

Has there ever been programming done from 2 sites on the same development machine for same Oracle application?

or have you perhaps maintained the same application from more than one geographical location using 2 different development machines while maintaining only one version/configuration of the code modules?
