If you're using Oracle 7.3 then all should be ok. The indexed file must not have ANY data in it that's not straight ASCII or sever complications could result. I used to be a VMS/Oracle guy and indexed files just look like straight-ASCII files that come out in some order as if by magic. Received on Wed Mar 12 1997 - 00:00:00 CST
