The OOPSLA Conference Committee and ACM SIGPLAN will sponsor a set of colocated workshops on "Applied Object Technology", June 16-17, 1997 in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York. The purpose of this new event is to bring together people who are working on the application of object technology to the critical problems in major industrial domains: telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare, realtime systems, finance, insurance - as well as object models for business transaction systems.

Registration deadline is 1 April 1997 - attendence is limited and requires submission of a position paper.
