After upgrading to PB 5.0.02 the problem persists, however other
tables with long character fields are no longer causing this problem. 
We are now looking the problem as table-specific since one lone table
(we think) is continuing to cause GPS when accessed via our PB
application. At this point we are going to drop/create, re-populate
the table in question with data and try again in PB to access it.
