Identifying installed SQLNet/ODBC versions

I am looking at making an 'intelligent' install program that performs several functions. One part is that it needs to determine is which versions of ODBC/SQLNet are installed (if any) on a typical Win31/95/NT system, and then match up the and install the correct (ie compatible) versions.

Is there an way to precisely identify the specific SQLNet and Oracle ODBC versions currently installed on a system? Microsoft ODBC drivers have version information in the Win95 registry, but Oracle seems to have omitted that handy feature.

As for SQLNet, Oracle appears to go by file name alone as far as I can tell. If that is true, where might one find a list of files paired to SQLNet versions?
