VB doesn't seem to contain any natural drivers for connecting to Oracle other than ODBC which is not really the best way for a client to interface with an Oracle7 server. However Oracle themselves have come out with a new version of Oracle Power Objects which seems to be very Visual Basic like right down to the code, which they call Oracle Basic. This also has the built in native drivers for connecting to an Oracle7 server.
