I have been emailing each recruiter who posts to the wrong group. They are mostly cooperating, and also thanking me for the note. Have you noticed how well comp.databases.oracle.marketplace is doing?

Some may be cross-posting to the other three groups, but on my newsreader, I access the cdo.marketplace group first, and just delete most of the ads I don't care to read. Since my newsreader keeps track of cross-posted articles, they get deleted from the other groups before I even get there.

I realize that some newsreaders don't do this, and you see each cross-posted article once in each group you read. If you are experiencing this, then please email the job-ad posters, and ask them (politely) not to cross-post.

And, please don't call those people "pimps". You might need one someday. I personally like to see the ads (posted to the correct group, of course). It gives me a warm feeling to know that my skills are in demand. :-)

Happy holidays!
