If you search the archive of the c.d.oracle* groups at Dejanews, I think you'll find some more info on this problem. Reportedly 7.3.3 orainst will bring back the Flexible in Oracle Flexible Architecture. In the immediate, there's a Moving ORACLE_HOME document, probably on your Support Notes CD.
