Oracle certified education: Helpful in job searches?

Hi all:

I'm a relatively new poster, so bear with my naivete. Have many professionals received any of the certified education developed by Oracle? I don't see many of the job listing looking for certification (in relation to network systems analysts and consultants where a CNE or MCSE is *seemingly* neccessary).

Undoubtedly, the certification wouldn't hurt, but is it worth it to potential employers (especially if you don't have a few hundred years of experience under your belt) to make the financial/scholastic effort?
