Folks,

I have need of programming help on two short term projects. They include:

  1. Conversion of a SASS program into an equivalent Perl script. This needs to happen before the end of the year. This program reads a flat ASCII file containing environmental chemistry data, applies a set of rules to the data, and outputs exceptions that occur in the data.
  2. Development of additional "modules" to an electronic data delivery system. This needs to happen before end of January. This project involves the develop of a new client specific module (not true modules in Perl sense) which, in conjunction with the main program, reads several text files, along with an Oracle database, and converts the data into a client specific format.

Skill needed:

  1. Strong Perl coder
  2. Experience with using Oracle extensions
  3. Good analysis and design skills
  4. Background in chemistry/physical sciences would be nice

Contact me via any of the means below.

TIA, Alan
