Oracle WeServer -- application suitability

I am trying to determine whether Oracle WebServer is a suitable vehicle for an application. Any and all comments appreciated.

The application involves WWW users filling out a lengthy multi-page form. Information on the form will be stored in an Oracle 7 database for subsequent processing. (Each completed form will result in one record being added to a table.) The questions on the form are not data-driven; that is, little use will be made of capabilities to generate HTML pages dynamically. Some field edits are required but do not involve database tables. Mostly, they are for state codes, social security numbers and the like.

Again, any comments would be greatly appreciated. Received on Thu Nov 07 1996 - 00:00:00 CST
