Question about Personal Oracle

I am posting this question for a friend with no internet access who is having trouble with Personal Oracle. I would appreciate any responses being sent via e-mail to david_at_fillian.demon.co.uk. Thankyou.

anyway here is the question...

I am attempting to install personal oracle from a cd provided in the book Oracle Unleased by SAMS publishing. After following the instructions on the back cover to setup initial browser icon, everything seems fine.
I attempt to click on the browser icon and recieve an error number "424 - Object not found ..." . What does this message mean and can I still run orainst to install the database and tools ?
