Location : Detroit, MI
Duration : Long term
Requirements:
· - 7+ experience in software testing.
· - Minimum 3 years experience in data warehouse environment.
· - Work with project team in requirements gathering and analysis.
· - Prepare effort estimates based on the requirements.
· - Prepare test plan and test strategy.
· - Work with Business Analysts, Developers, ETL and Data warehouse engineers to validate ETL scripts.
· - Create stored procedures and queries to automate testing.
· - Responsible for writing, executing and debugging SQL queries to perform data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing.
· - Capture, analyze QA metrics identified for the program.
· - Ensure content and structure of all testing documents / artifacts are documented and maintained.
· - Execute test cases / scripts. Log and track defects to closure.
· - Review test conditions, test cases and test scripts.
· - Organize status meetings and send status reports.
· - Assign task to testing resources and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project.
· - Strong hands-on SQL coding experience.
· - Experience testing data for data marts, data warehouses, and data integration solutions.
· - Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica is a plus.
· - Experience with data modeling and BI tools is a plus.
