Loop with php thru a set statement in load infile

I want to set twelve by four by two different variables during load infile. THe long way would of course be to provide a set statement for each case. Is there a shorter way. Can you interrupt a set statement with a loop inside it?

(the four different formats are variations in the way data is stored, the two are preliminary vs actual and the twelve are years.)
