Mark, I've run into this and I resolved the problem by running gridSetup,sh with the -responseFile argument. There should be a response file with the "*.rsp" extension in the $GRID_HOME.

BTW, I decided that rushing to Oracle Linux 8.2 isn't worth the trouble. Why do you want such a bleeding edge configuration? I don't find OL 8.x a substantial improvement over 7.x , at least not yet.
